Aarushi is an MS Computational Science and Engineering student specializing in Computational Biology and Interactive Computing. She completed her BSc in Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She has previously worked in the accessibility field where she designed and built a working prototype of a wearable device to aid those with hearing disabilities. Her current research focuses on building Human Activity Recognition models which can be transferred from one modality to another.
